Roy David Marklew died of cancer on the 29th august, he was 59yrs, he worked for the police and lived in birmingham. He had 4 children who he loved dearly and 5 grandchildren, he loved being a grandad and was very proud of us all. we will always love him and miss him every day and always. love you dad.
hiya uncle roy, its me again. was just watching physic sally on the tele and everytime i watch it i think of you. sometimes when watching it it jus makes me a little sad that you are not here with us. emily was 1 3 days ago, she's not been very well and just waiting on some chest xray results to see if she is ok or not, jack will be 4 december, the time has gone so quick. it makes me so sad knowing that they will never get to meet the best uncle there ever could be but when they are old enough they will definately be told about you and how amazing you are. every time i write to you on here i sit here hoping that you are able to read this and know how much we miss you and how said it makes me knowing that there will never be a reply. i love you uncle roy xxx
hiya uncle roy, its that time of year again, the 1 day of the year that we miss you even more than we do every other day of the year. 6 years today u were taken from us but it still doesnt make it any easier not being able to see you. 6 years on and its still as hard as ever, missing you just as much as the day u passed away. not sure if ive told u that im having another baby. hoping for a little girl this time, little sister for jack. id give anything for them to have an uncle as great as u were to me. hope ur happy up there and watching over us. love you and miss you lots helen xxx

hiya uncle roy, just had a little upset moment so thought id leave you a message, ive just lost a friend from work, it was very sudden and 5 years on someone dying always makes me think of you and how much we all miss you, we all get on with our day to day lives but it still doesnt make it any easier knowing that you are not here to share it with us.
jack's 2 now, he's growing up so fast and time has flown, hardly seems like last week that he was born, i really wish you were here to meet him, he really would love you, i miss you so much, lots and lots of love helen and jack xxxxx

well dad its the 9th semtember 2009, your 65th birthday, you should be retiring now and enjoying yourself. i sure your having a big party up there in heaven and having fun, if i know you. well still missing you so much and its worse on your birthday, still i sang happy birthday to you on my way to work in the car and i have told all my clients at the shop its your birthday and spoke about you all day, which made me feel better. so i still celebrated your birhday even though your not here with us, but i am sure you were looking down anyway. feeling a little upset now dad so happy 65th birthday love you and miss you forever.
